The adjustment is a safe, natural, non-invasive procedure used by the Chiropractor to restore and improve joint function and health.  In basic terms, the spinal adjustment or spinal manipulation refers to the process in which the Doctor of Chiropractic skillfully applies controlled force into one or more "subluxated" vertebrae of the spine (vertebrae of the spine which are no longer in their proper position or where function and mobility have become impaired).

Traction is another form of manipulation offered. The abnormal spinal position involved the adaptive changes of the ligaments, muscles and vertebral bones. Traction applies force, stretches the ligaments back to their normal position and relieves compression of discs and nerves. 

 Muscle Stimulation (also referred to as Electrical Stimulation) is a modality that uses an electrical current to cause muscle contractions.  This contraction helps relieve tension and promotes healing.
